The plans you recently submitted have been reviewed and approved by the Fire Department referencing the 2016 edition of the California Fire Code (CFC). The numbered comments listed below
in the body of this letter must be addressed prior to Fire Department Final Inspection of your project.
Provide illuminated exit signs for the new exits with a backup power source that will allow the continuation of the illumination for 90 minutes in case of power failure.
Extinguishers shall be 2A10BC. One extinguisher is required for every 3000 square feet with a travel distance of less than 75'. Extinguishers shall be mounted in a conspicuous place,
easily accessible and readily available, and shall be along normal paths of travel. Extinguishers shall be mounted so that the top of the extinguisher is no higher than 5' above finished
floor. Where extinguishers may be subject to physical damage they shall be adequately protected.
