The plans you recently submitted have been reviewed by the Fire Department referencing the 2016 edition of the California Fire Code (CFC). The numbered comments listed below in the body
of this letter must be addressed prior to Fire Department Approval of your project.
An automatic fire sprinkler system will be required, please consult with a licensed C-16 contractor and submit plans on a separate permit.
Provide verification from a licensed professional engineer that Industrial Oven (Curing Oven) is compliant with NFPA 86, Standard for Ovens and Furnaces.
Provide verification from a licensed professional engineer that the Powder Coating Equipment and Spray Area is compliant with NFPA 33, Standard for Spray Application Using Flammable
or Combustible Materials.
