IamaretiredEmergencyR.N.,andIamreallyworriedandconcernedforthehealthofButte
Countyresidentsiftheproclamationisrescinded.
Justyesterday,therewerethreedeathsinButteCountyand83newcases.Thosenumberswill
riseastheywillthroughout thecountryifmaskingandothermeasuresarenotmandated.
Childrencurrently donothavevaccinationoptionsandtheyaregettingsick,landingupon
ventsandDYING.Ifwecanpreventsomeofourmostvulnerablefromdying,itwouldbe
wellworththesmallinconveniencesandwillhelpstopthespreadofcovid.
Thisshouldnotbeapoliticalissue.Coviddoesnotcarewhatyourbeliefsare.Weneedto
useallthetoolswecantosavelivesandpreventillness.ColusaCountyhasjoinedothersin
recognizingtheneedtomaskup.Weneedtodothesame.
Pleaseconsidertheseriousramificationsofpoliciesthataffectthehealthandwellbeingofour
countyresidents.
