Description: Install 24kw Generac Generator wire, trenching, etc.

comments are listed below. Please respond in writing to each comment. Complete and clear responses will
expedite the re-check and approval of this project. Please provide revised plan sets with your response, or submit
electronically directly to the Permit Center at dsbuilding@buttecounty.net. For large electronic files, please
resubmit to http://ushare.buttecounty.net/filedrop/DSBuilding@buttecounty.net.
Following are re-check comments, numbered per the original list, requiring further response. The format includes a
restatement of the original comments followed by our re-check comment in a separate bold italicized paragraph.
GENERAL COMMENTS:
4. Clarify where the critical loads are located on the electrical singe lines for each system backed up. Also indicate
how both transfer switches are supplied with power.
(PC2) It is still unclear how the 200 amp transfer switch is supplied with power and feeds critical loads. The
drawing shows the meter hooking to sub then feeding the transfer switch then back to sub panel? Most
commonly the power from main would feed into ATS then supply the Sub panel as critical loads. Please revise
drawings to indicate location critical loads for the 200 amp transfer switch. In addition you are showing two
separate supplies from generator should this be one in a junction box then ran to the transfer switches? Please
show on plans location of splice.
