Dear Chico Board of Supervisors,
It has come to my attention that you are considering reminding the Emergency Proclamation for COVID-19 related
safety measures. I am begging you not to do so, at this time.
It is up to all of us to do our part and help keep our citizens safe. Unfortunately, as we’ve seen by the latest uptick in
COVID cases, not all of us doing so.
It is imperative that we do whatever we have to do to keep our hospital numbers down, our kids in school, and our
businesses open- but not at the expense of human lives. PLEASE maintain current emergency proclamations and
increase safety mandates.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
A. Evans
