I am very concerned about the rise in COVID hospitalizations in Butte County. Enloe alone has 47
patients hospitalized for COVID. Last year at this time they only had 21 patients. This is getting serious!
It is especially concerning for children who can't get vaccinated and those with comprised immune
systems.
I strongly urge you to keep theCOVID proclamation and to ask Public Health to encourage wearing
masks indoors and to step up its information to the public regarding schools and businesses and
outbreaks.
