DearSupervisorKimmelshue- GrowingupIrememberhearingthatyourrighttoswingyourfistendsatmynose.Ifeelthat this“personalchoice”argumentcomesdowntothesamething.Ifyourpersonalchoice doesn’taffectsomeoneelse,thenfine…butrefusingtobevaccinatedorwearamaskdoesn’t affectonlyyou.Itaffectsyourwholecommunity.It’snotjustpassingthevirusontoothers, butcloggingupthehospitalssothatpeoplewhoaretryingtheirbesttotakecareof themselvesandthosearoundthemcan’tgetmedicalcareforallkindsoftreatmentsand surgeriesandlifesavinginterventions.Itmakegoingintothesupermarketdangerousforus all.Itmakesthosewhoareimmunocompromisedfearleavingtheirhomes.Itendangersall thosewhocan’tgetthevaccine.Soit’scleara“personalchoice”inthiscaseisn’tpersonal. It’smerelyselfish,inconsiderateand,ifyoucomerightdowntoit,lethal.
