Dear Board of Supervisors,
I am an active voter and member of our Butte Co community. We are seeing serious and dangerous increases in
COVID cases in our county. Vulnerable populations are at increased risk and vaccination rates are still low. Schools
starting and young people not having access yet to vaccines will create an increased caseload and burden on our
healthcare services - as well as unnecessary increased illness.
Please do not rescind the Emergency Proclamation at this tenuous time in our pandemic recovery.
Thank you for taking the time to make informed decisions for our communities.
