To the Board of Supervisors,
I am emailing you today out of concern for our communities health and safety. Please do NOT rescind the
Emergency Proclamation. For the education and awareness that our community needs please continue to advance
Public Health’s advisories on our current outbreaks, school requirements, and small business recommendations for
COVID safety procedures.
I urge you to not rescind the Emergency Proclamation and continue following the State of California’s COVID
guidelines.
As a new mother and a Chico resident for the past 7 years, I can only ask my fellow community members to come
together to help make it safe for my child to not contract COVID as she cannot receive a covid vaccine yet. I urge
you to think of those in the community who need protection from this deadly virus. Please protect our children, our
elderly, our families and friends.
Thank you,
Natalie Corbaley
A very concerned Chico citizen
