implementation plan; and
WHEREAS, the California Secretary ofState has been delegated the responsibility for the administration ofthe
reimbursement funds, setting up necessary procedures for the allocation of those funds; and
WHEREAS, said procedures established by the California Secretary of State require the County to certify by
resolution, the approval of application(s), and contracts before submission of said app|icetiom(s) and contracts to the
California Secretary ofState.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board nfSupervisors hereby:
1. Appoints the County Clerk -Recorder or his/her designee as agent to conduct all negotiations, execute and
submit all documents, including but not limited toapplications, contracts, contract amendments, payment
requests, and other documentation, which may be necessary for the execution of the duties and,
responsibilities under the Voter's Choice Act.
