WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has previously approved entering into an agreement with the
CalVCB for funding to process applications and claims for unreirnbursed losses to victims of crime, and desires to renew
the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the CalVCB has authorized revenue in the amount of $727,396.23 for FY 2021/22 through FY 2023/24,
to be allocated $242,465.41 per fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the CaIVCB requires the local governing body to authorize execution of the agreement and related
documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes th,e Butte
County District Attorney to enter into the agreement with the CalVCB, and further authorizes the District Attorney to
execute the agreement, certification and other documents required by the term of the agreement.
