TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the Butte County Probation Department desires to participate in the Youth Programs and Facilities
Grant Program (YPFG) funded through the California State General Fund and administered by the Board of State and
Community Corrections (hereafter referred to as the B,SCC), in the amount of $16,7,529.00; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Probation Department will implement the Commitment to Success Program at the
Butte County Jluvem0e Hall facility to provide multidisciplinary, evidence -based, trauma -informed, amd culturally
competent programming for youth impacted by the realignment and closure of the Department ofJuvenile Justice; a:md
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chief Probation Officer, or his designee, is hereby authorized on
behalf of the Butte County Board of Supervisors to submit the grant proposal for this funding and sign the Grant
Agreement with the BSCC,including any amendments thereof; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Probation Officer, orhis designee, ishereby authorized and empowered
to execute YPFG Program documents on behalf of the County of Butte, including, but not l,imited to, proposals, payment
requests, agreements, and amendments necessary tosecure YPFGProgram funds, orextensions toYPFG Program thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Qraimthmxds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant expenditures
controlled bvthis body; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Butte County Probation Department agrees to ensure all matching funds
required for the above grant are provided and abide bythe terms and conditions ofthe Grant Agreement asset forth by
theBSC[
