"E'll 1: 11; 01 1 �Al DRUG COURT VETERANS TREATMENT COURT DISCRETIONARY GRANT (VTC) AWARD AND AUTHORIZING THE CHIiIEF PROBATION OFFICER TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS. WHEREAS, the Butte County Probation Department desires to participate in the VT[ funded thraugh U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice; and WHEREAS, the Butte County Probation Department will enhance the Butte County Veterans Treatment Court (8CVTC) that was established in 2015 to address, the specific needs and challenges experienced by veterans in our community. BCVTC seeks to restore justice -involved veterans to healthy and productive community members by promoting accountability, integrity, independence, and persanal development through supervision and treatment; and WHEREAS, services to be provided with VTC funding include came management services, mental health assessments, treatment, and counseling, 90 day outpatient treatment programming, Licensed Residential Treatment, and intensive outpatient treatment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE |TRESOLVED that the Chief Probation Officer, mrhis designee, is hereby authorized on behalf mfthe Butte County Board of Supervisors to accept the award for this funding and sign the Grant Agreement, including any amendments thereof; and BE|TFURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Probation Officer, mrhis designee, bhereby authorized and empowered to execute VTC documents on behalf of the County of Butte, including, but not limited to, proposals, payment requests, agreements, and amendments necessary tosecure VTC funds and imp�Uemmemtthe VTC.
