Let me be registered as another community member (30 years in the
Chico area) asking the board NOT to rescind the Emergency Proclamation.
The only way to stop the spread of COVID is to limit the size of public
gatherings, urge people to meet outside, wear masks, wash hands. If we
insist on this strongly enough, we have a chance to put this horror to rest.
DO NOT rescind the Emergency Proclamation.
