Dear supervisors,
First I want to thank you for taking on the challenging job of supervisor in order
to serve the citizens of Butte County. Your work is appreciated.
I am writing today, after speaking with some Enloe medical staff, about the
frightening rise of Covid cases in Butte County right now. These nurses and
doctors are worried and rightly so.
I encourage you to support our two excellent hospitals and follow
their recommendation for a mask mandate for all indoor spaces for Butte
County. It keeps us all safer and is really not that big of a deal. I trust the view
of the medical professionals who have to take care of us when we fall ill.
