In order to proceed with our review of this application, the Butte County Public Works Department, Land Development Division, and Agricultural Commissioner’s Office request a revised tentative parcel map. On the current map it is difficult to identify parcel boundaries or distinguish parcel lines from other lines shown. Please ensure the following items are included on a revised plat: 1. More legible and identifiable parcel boundary lines. 2. A legend, indicating what each line type and hatched area represents. 3. All existing easements and right-of-ways. 4. All preliminary slopes for proposed driveways. 5. Slopes for the subject parcel as they currently exist. Additionally, per BCC sec. 24-83, the Agricultural Commissioner’s Office also requires that the 300-foot Agricultural buffer setback for residential development be indicated on the tentative parcel map. This setback should be applied from the boundaries of both existing agriculturally-zoned parcels and those new agriculturally-zoned parcels proposed by TPM21-0011. Please contact Feraidon Ataie with Public Works for assistance with fulfilling these requirements at fataie@buttecounty.net or 530.552.3869. Uriah Johnson with the Agricultural Commissioner’s Office can be contacted for assistance with the Agricultural buffer concerns at ujohnson@buttecounty.net or 530.538.7381. If you have any questions regarding this incomplete letter, I can be reached between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at (530) 552-3686, or via e-mail at aforde@buttecounty.net.
