HomeMy WebLinkAbout21-103RESOLUTION AMENDING+ DULE WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors established the Butte County Master Fee Schedule by Resolution on March 24, 2009 and has amended the Fee Schedule overtime; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the California Constitution and the laws of the State of California, the County of Butte is authorized to adopt and implement fees for services, provided however, that such fees do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing such service, and WHEREAS, the County strives to increase and maintain clarity, consistency, and transparency of the fee process; Mrs WHEREAS, the Department of Public Health requests to add two fees, one to their Laboratory fee schedule, and one to their Animal Control fee schedule; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was noticed ten days prior to the date of this Resolution to allow consideration of the proposed fee adjustment prior to adoption of this Resolution; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors desires to adjust cuirrent fees and implement new fees, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby adopt fee as delineated in Exhibit A and amends the Butte County Master Fee Schedule to reflect the changes; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED all fee adjustments shall become effective August 23, 2021. Molecular Testing $33.00 6. Trichomonas Vaginalis Charged at 15 minutes of the Laboratory Division Hourly Rate plus the actual cost of the test. Per hour fees to be charged in 15 minute increments. * Fee set by State or Federal legislation. The Master Fee Schedule will be updated to reflect any mandatory fee amendments established by future State or Federal legislation. Public Health Laboratory fees effective January 1, 2021. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH A. Impoundment 7. Microchip for Cats and Dogs 19.00 FAC 31108.3, 31752.1 Charged at actual cost plus 7 minutes of the Animal Control Division Hourly Rate. *Fee set by State or Federal legislation. The Master Fee Schedule will be updated to reflect any mandatory fee amendments established by future State or Federal legislation. Animal Control fees effective January 1, 2021.
