The Butte Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) are pleased to announce the draft
Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) for the Butte Subbasin is available for public review and comment.
This Public Comment Period will end on October 31, 2021. Once adopted in December, the GSP will become
a key milestone for implementing the state-mandated Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).
A public workshop will be held on September 20, 2021, community members and media representatives are
encouraged to attend.
