Please see the attached Treasury Cash reconciliations. We are closed with prior year and are now
preparing for the external audit. Going forward we will be closing the months at the regular
scheduled 5 business days which will allow the turnaround of these certifications within 30 days.

Good Afternoon,
Attached is the reconciliation of the cash and investment accounts between Auditor and Treasurer
Books for the County. We have now closed the months of July, August and September allowing the
following reports to be completed.
Here is what I am sending:
Monthly Treasury Cash Reconciliation for July, August and September 2021.
Certified Supporting Cash Report for July, August and September 2021.
The Auditor's Office has counted cash in County Treasury and verified the beginning and ending
balances, receipts, and disbursements made by the Treasurer per Government Code 26920(a)(2),
Verifying that the records of the county treasurer and auditor are reconciled pursuant to Section
26905. The Auditor's Office does not have the expertise to assess the soundness of the County's
Investment Policy or express an opinion on it or the Treasurer's adherence to it.
