Media Advisory
Butte County residents and media representatives are invited to participate in a virtual
community meeting to discuss the Rock Creek Flood Study, which will identify feasible
solutions to flooding issues in the Rock Creek/Keefer Slough Watershed. Butte County Public
Works staff will provide background information, project goals and outcomes, and next steps.
The meeting will also be an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about this project.

Butte County will also host an in-person meeting on November 18, 2021. This meeting
will contain the same content as the October 28 meeting, but will take place face to
face at Nord Country School from 6 pm to 8 pm. Please check for more details by
checking the project website as we near the meeting date.
