BUTTE COUNTY LIBRARY’S REACH PROGRAM IS HERE TO SUPPORT YOUR NEEDS AS A JOB SEEKER, A SMALL
BUSINESS OWNER, AND AN ENTREPRENEUR
REACH: Reconnect, Engage, Adults, Creating, Hope program provides economic and workforce development
resources at the Butte County Library!
Butte County residents are encouraged to bring goals and aspirations to the Butte County Library REACH Program.
The REACH Program will assist residents in finding a dream job, training for a new career, gaining new skills, getting
started with the idea of being your own boss and expanding your small business. Additional help is also available,
such as:
Resume Assistance, Mock Interviews, Job Application Assistance, Career Exploration/Transitions
One-on-One Business Counselling, Referrals, Classes, Webinars, Workshops delivered by subject matter
experts
Collaborative Workspaces with Technology and Productivity Tools, and Specialized Collections
E-learning Platforms like Udemy, SkillShare, Learning Express and many more
Applications for scholarships for free enrollment in Career Online High School Diploma (COHS) where adults
can receive a high school diploma
Anyone interested is encouraged to schedule a one-on-one consulting session with library staff. Consulting sessions

and Social Services and Alliance of workforce Development to create accessible resources for workforce development and Business Startup
