Good afternoon Board –
Quick update on what you will see on the Agenda with regards to the Redistricting item. There are 8
maps included on the agenda:
1. Three maps developed by the consultant per Board direction (Maps A8, A9 and A10);
2. Three maps requested by Supervisor Kimmelshue, with Supervisor Teeter’s concurrence
(consultant map A5 and publicly submitted maps A5-B and A5-C) ; and
3. Two maps requested by Supervisor Lucero and Supervisor Ritter (publicly submitted map
Chico N/S, Foothills E/W, and map A7).
Two of the maps (map A5 and map A7) have been brought/discussed before the Board previously.
Consistent with our internal process, two board members can request that an item be placed on the
agenda.
I am working on getting the three new consultant maps into DistrictR…and will have all 3 of them in
that software by tomorrow morning.
