Subject: PG&E Storm related Power outages for Butte County
ALCON –
Wanted to provide a quick update on the current power outages for Butte County caused by recent
storms.
Portions of Cohasset, Forest Ranch, Butte Meadows, upper Magalia, Nimshew, DeSabla, and Stirling
City are without power due to the heavy snow and high wind gusts. See attached map with
highlighted polygons showing rough outline of outage areas.
PG&E is working hard to restore lines but anticipates power will not be fully restored in these areas
until late in the weekend. The full scope of the outages and potential repairs is still unknown as
PG&E was unable to fly the lines until today due to weather.
