Dear Board members,
Good Morning!
We are delighted to share with you that Butte County library has been awarded with $250,000 grant
funds from the State Library. These funds are for our Mobile Library and Literacy vehicle and for
Early Learning/Literacy initiatives. We are also hopeful that we will receive a substantial USDA grant
for this Mobile Library, which we should know soon. This grant will help us replace our old and aging
literacy coach and move towards our new strategic direction- serving our under-served populations
in the Butte county.
