My general takeaways from our call with them today include: Chico, Oroville, and Butte College should remain on, absent an extreme event. Oroville means the incorporated area for the most part. There will be backup generation in a portion of Magalia to ensure some goods and services remain available for Magaliaresidents. Additional clearing around lines will allow fly-over assessment of lines after an event to speed up re-energizing lines. There will be fewer and smaller PSPS events due to additional switches, expanded clearing, increased hardening of lines, some undergrounding, and better weather prediction tools. PG&E has 8-9 Community Resource Center sites it is coordinating with that can open up as needed. PG&E is working with the California Foundation for Independent Living to implement strong support for vulnerable populations through local providers. I had to step out of the call for another meeting, so there may be other key points you find later in the presentation.
