Dear Interested Party:
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service released the final Pacific Gas and Electric Company Multiple Region
Operations and Maintenance HCP, our accompanying Environmental Assessment for the Pacific Gas &
Electric Company Multiple Region Operations and Maintenance HCP, our decision to issue Pacific Gas and
Electric Company a section 10(a)(1)(B) incidental take permit, and our responses to comments
received from the public during the public comment periods for these documents. The Service will
post the final documents on ECOS (website address below) approximately 30 days from the date of
this letter, as well as the section 7 biological opinion on the issuance of an incidental take permit,
section 10 Findings and Recommendations, and our Finding of No Significant Impact.
