The Butte County Board of Supervisors is hereby giving notice of a vacancy on the Butte County
Water Commission for the Commissioner, District 3 Representative seat. The Board of
Supervisors may consider making an appointment to fill this vacancy on or after August 3, 2020.
The term of this appointment ends January 9, 2023.
The Commission consists of nine members appointed by the Board of Supervisors, consisting
of the following: Each Board of Supervisor member shall nominate one member from their
district; two members shall be landowners served by district water; and two members shall be
landowners served by private wells.
The Butte County Water Commission provides advice to the Board of Supervisors on water
matters, assists in the development of water policies, and performs all tasks delegated to the
Commission by the Board of Supervisors.
Persons interested in being considered for this appointment shall submit an Application for
