Hello. My name is Samantha Zangrilli and I am a small business owner, farmer, land owner,
Camp Fire survivor and a tax paying citizen of Butte County. I wish to give my support/voice
to CHAT. We need practical solutions to solve the homelessness crisis that we have been
facing and has been exacerbated by the fire and now the virus. CHAT has practical ideas for
how we can move forward.
1. We have a housing crisis. The City of Chico declared a "Shelter Crisis" twenty months ago.
The County has declared a "Shelter Crisis".
2. We request that emergency housing get on the next agenda.
3. We request Direct Staff to designate two one acre parcels for the tiny home villages and two
for sanctioned campgrounds.

Sonoma County successfully created a tiny house community ( Los Guillocos) to house homeless. Chico has a good
opportunity to do the same by designating land for a tiny home community and also do a sanctioned camp ground.
Now is a good time . Thank you for your work, I know it’s not easy.

and I urge you to move forward to designate two acres for tiny homes.

Board of Supervisors,
I would like to register my support for Butte County working with the City of
Chico, for CHAT's Tiny House Village. Butte County could designate parcels
of land throughout the county, to build tiny homes for the elderly and
disabled homeless. This could be a long term solution to our shelter crisis.
