Yoder and Karen Lange - SYASL COVID-19 Update AT0 COVID-19 Updates www.covid19.ca.gov August 17, 2020 Newsom Administration - Resources / Mutual Aid / Executive Orders Today, Governor Newsom announced that he signed an emergency proclamation in response to the West Coast heat wave. With the West Coast heat wave projected to intensify over the coming days, Governor Newsom also signed an executive order today to free up additional energy capacity. View here. The Governor announced today that Santa Cruz County has come off the States watch list,and San Diego County is expected to come off as early as tomorrow. Amador, Calaveras, Inyo, Mendocino, and Sierra counties have been added to the watch list. The Governor said his administration is working to clarify guidance for counties who come off the watch list.
