In addition, the CAO has authority granted in MOUs and resolutions with various employee groups to provide additional leave during times of disaster response. Resolution No. 20-038 requires the CAO to provide a report back to the Board of Supervisors regarding actions taken. Actions taken under authority of MOUs and resolutions with various employee groups are also included in the report. All actions described in the staff report were taken after consultation and agreement with the Human Resources Director and in consultation with the affected employee groups – action requested – 1) ACCEPT REPORT AND RATIFY THE ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER RELATED TO AUTHORITY GRANTED IN RESOLUTION 20-038 AND EXISTING MOUS AND RESOLUTIONS WITH VARIOUS EMPLOYEE GROUP.
