Good Morning,
My name is Terry Edwards, I’m currently helping out as the Interim Assistant Director for Public
Works.
Below is an infrastructure reporting as of 8:30am Monday, 12/27/21. No damage of any significance
to report. Roadways are cleared of tree debris. Snow plowing is currently active in some locations.
Snow plowing is occurring from DeSabla to Sterling City, no damage to report.
Snow plowing is occurring in Butte Meadows, the upper end of Forest Ranch, and the
Cohasset area. Minor guard rail damage to report.
No snow reported for the Concow area.
Snow has been plowed to the road closure at Mt. House (Oro Quincy Hwy).
Snow plowing operations occurred over the weekend in the upper reaches of Berry Creek,
Forbestown, and Lumpkin Road. No damages to report.
No bridge structure damage or debris to report.
Neal Road Waste facility is reporting muddy conditions, but no damage to report.
A traffic signal power pedestal was destroyed as a result of a traffic accident at Lower
Wyandotte Road and Ophir Road (Near Feather Falls Casino). St. Francis traffic consultant is
onsite working on repairs. Estimated functioning traffic signal will be one to two days.
Tree crews are reporting a minimal amount of trees down. All roadways are open due to
any downed trees over the weekend.
I will provide an afternoon update around 1:00pm.
