Dear Mr. Scott,
This letter is to act as record of the Fire Life Safety inspection performed on November
23, 2021 and our phone conversation Friday December 10,2021. During the inspection we
discussed all items listed on the attached report and agreed to a reinspection date of December
14,2021 to accommodate a Fire Suppression Contractor that you preferred to use. At the
conclusion of the inspection Captain Zarate and myself reviewed the items to be corrected with
you,and you confirmed the email address of scottvsca a.aol.com as an appropriate place to
receive a copy of the completed report.
During our conversation today you requested an extension to complete the required
corrections and stated that you were not in receipt of the report. I agreed to hand deliver a copy
of the report to you by 5:00 pm on this date. We also agreed that during our conversation that all
corrections must be completed prior to January 3, 2022.
You are currently in violation of the California Fire Code sections 901.4.1, 1031.2 and
the California Code of Regulations, Title 19,Division 1, §1.14, §3.19 (b,c) and§3.24. Prior to
Monday January 3, 2022,you must have the kitchen hood fire suppression system serviced by a
licensed C-16 contractor, service all fire extinguishers, have the kitchen hood inspected and
professionally cleaned,remove items blocking the exit door to the Yacht Club room and clear
combustible items 24" away from the wood stove. Failure to comply with this request may result
in a citation being issued. Please sign and date the bottom of this letter to acknowledge receipt of

Electrical ^
30.Discontinue use of extension cords.
31.Install permanent wiring for fixed and stationary appliances.
32.Provide cover plates for all junction boxes.

34.Remove exposed wiring or protect in an approved conduit.
35.Provide a 30 inch clear space to and in front of an electrical panel.
36.Maintain wiring in good condition and protect from damage.
Flammable Liquids and Compressed Gases
37.Liquid Storage for maintenance purposes greater than 10 gallons must be in an
approved cabinet.
38.Reduce quantities of flammable/combustible liquids.
39.Store flammable liquids away from exits,stairs and/or corridors.
40.Provide proper emergency disconnect for fuel dispensers within 100'.
41.Replace lids on all flammable liquid storage containers not in immediate use.
42.Remove all fueled vehicles from dwelling units.
43.Secure compressed gas cylinders.Identify product name.
Storage and Housekeeping ^
44.Arrange storage in an orderly manner to provide access/egress.
45.Remove combustible storage from boiler,mechanical and electrical rooms.
46.Reduce storage to 24"below ceiling or 18"below sprinkler head.
47.Provide metal or approved non-combustible trash containers with lid.
48.Remove lint/debris from behind washers and dryers.
49.Remove waste/rubbish materials from the premises.
50.Keep dumpsters 5'away from combustible walls,eaves or openings.
51.Provide clearance between building and combustible vegetation.
