northwest of Canyon Drive and crossing the Oroville Dam, was submitted by the State of California (Department of Water
Resources) to the Butte County Address Coordinator consistent with the requirements of Butte County Code section 32'
6; and
WHEREAS, said petition contained signatures of over 60 percent of the property owners whose property is
servicedbvsuch OvovNeDam Drive and the proposed road name, Orov|heDam Crest Road has been verified to meet the
following criteria:
1. The proposed road name does not conflict with any existing road names; and
2. The proposed road name does not duplicate or sound like any existing road names in Butte County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby:
1. Gives notice that at its regular meeting on August 24, 2021 at 9:30 a.m., in the Board of Supervisors Chambers,
Butte County Administrative Building, 25County Center Drive, OruvW|e,California, ohearing shall beheld to
hear all persons interested in the change of Oroville Dam Drive to Oroville Dam Crest Road.
2. That at the conclusion of said hearing the Board intends to change the name of Oroville Dam Drive to Oroville
Dam Crest Road.
BE|TFURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors hereby orders that notice of the August24 2021 public
hearing shall be given by posting notice in at least three (3) places along the road proposed to be affected, such posting
tobecomplete atleast ten days before the day set for the hearing.
