HomeMy WebLinkAbout21-157RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE COUNTY OF BUTTE'S AUTHORIZED AGENTS FOR OBTAINING FEDERAL AND STATE
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER PUBLIC LAW 93-288 AND THE CALIFORNIA DISASTER ASISTANCE ACT
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors is the governing body of the Butte County Operations Area; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors is required to identify Authorized Agents to engage with the Federal
Emergency Management Agency and the Governor's Office of Emergency Services regarding financial assistance applied for by
the County and Operation Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors that the Assistance Chief Administrative Officer and
Deputy Administrative Officers are hereby authorized) to execute for and on behalf of the County of Butte, a public entity
established under the laws of the State of California, agreements and assurances for the purpose of obtaining certain federal
financial assistance under Public Law 93-288 and/or State financial assistance under the California Disaster Assistance Act; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this is a universal resolution and is effective for all open and future disasters up to three
(3) year following the date of approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 261h day of October, 2021, by the following vote:
AYES. Supervisors Lucero, Ritter, Kimmelshue, Teeter, and Chair Connelly
