WHEREAS, the deaf Road Recycling and Waste Facility (NRRW1F) is facing space constraints and increasing recycling
requirements necessitating acquisition of more real property; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors authorized staff on November 9, 2021, to negotiate terms and conditions of
acquiring parcels abutting the NIRRWF; and
WHEREAS, the specific terms and conditions of the County accepting, as a donation from Nance Canyon Partners,
L.P., Assessor's Parcel Numbers 040-600-032 and 040-600-063 is specified in the Donation Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the specific terms and conditions of the County purchasing and exercising an option to buy Assessor's
Parcel Number 040-600-084 from Nance Canyon Partners, L.P. is contalined in the Option Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby approves accepting the
donated parcels identified as Assessor's Parcel Numbers 040-600-032 and 040-600-063 and the purchase of Assessor's
Parcel Number 040-600-084 for a total) of Seven Hundred Eight Thousand Dollars ($708,000) and authorizes the Director
— General Services, on behalf of the County and the Board, to execute any and all documents necessary to effect the
acceptance of the donation and purchase and the recordation of any Deeds including the related Certificates of
Acceptance.
