WHEREAS, after 2Qyears of dedicated public service, Linda QenmamnwU| be retiring on, December 30, 2021.
During her career, her service to the citizens of Butte County and the Butte County Sheriff's Office has been exemplary;
and
WHEREAS, Linda began her career with the Butte County Sheriff's Office as a Clerk 1 in the Accounting Office in
February, 2001. Since that time, Linda has been promoted several times and has been: responsible for funds and financial
reporting related toseveral projects and'! grants including Department of Jiustice grant for a: School:! Resource Officer, the
FOREST Grant, the Indian Tribal Grant, LLEBG grant, and the Tobacco Enforcement grant; and
WHEREAS, during her tenure at the Butte County Sheriff's Office, Linda was also assigned to work in the personnel
office and was responsible for payroll and worker's compensation claims as well as other human resources related duties.
In a�ditioni, she served as a liaison on the safety committee. In addition, she served on the Sunshine committee for ten
years toassist coordinating events, such asthe annual picnic and Christmas party, topromote employee morale; and
WHEREAS, inMay 2O18,Linda was promoted toAdministrative Analyst Senior, and iocurrently raspons|b�|efor all
aspects nftracking, managing, and preparing the revenue and expenditure budgets h7rtheJail and Administrative divisions
ofthe Sheriff sOffice. She isalso tasked with managing the Inmate Welfare fund, Prisoner's Cash Trust fund and the COPS
and Civil non-operating funds; and
WHEREAS, Linda has assisted with the respomsetomany emergencies affecting Butte County, including the
C)rovi|Ue Dam Spillway Incident in 2017 and multiple fires; and
WHEREAS, for the reasons stated above and for many more, too numerous to express, Linda 0ernnamn has been
adedicated member qfthe Sheriff's Office and great citizen ofButte County, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby express their deep
appreciation, fortheexemplary service and dedication VfLinda, Bevmmanmduring her careervv|1hthe Butte County Sheriffs
Off ice.
