WHEREAS, Colette Worsham, Supervisor, Banking and Cash Management, Treasurer — Tax Collector's Office,
announced her retirement effective December 30, 2021; and
WHEREAS, Colette has been with the County for 20 years and in an integral part of the Treasury team; and
WHEREAS, For many years, Colette has overseen banking and daily fuinding for the County Treasury and she also
assists in moving excess funds over to investment vehicles to earn higher interest; and
WHEREAS Colette work closely with her team and other Departments within the County to ensure banking
operations are running smoothly; and
WHEREAS, Colette's accuracy andl attention to detail has been a benefit to the operation of the Treasury; and
WHEREAS, Colette was instrumental in streamlining the County's investment reports; and
WHEREAS, Colette is resourceful and resolves problems with both speed and accuracy; and
WHEREAS, Colette implemented Positive Pay, a fraud prevention too] to protect the County from financial loss;

WHEREAS, Colette successfully worked with the state Local Agency Investment Fund to implement an on-line
platform to transfer funds improving County operations; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors, on its own behalf, and on behalf
of the residents of the County of Butte wishes to express to Colette Worsham sincere appreciation, for her dedication and
outstanding service rendered to the residents of the County of Butte, and further wishes her warmest regards upon her
retirement as she charters this exciting new course with her family.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 14" day of December, 2021, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Lucero, Ritter, Kimmelshue, Teeter and Chair Connelly
