HomeMy WebLinkAbout22-003WHEREAS, Senator Presley wrote SB 997 to promote the development of interagency Children's Services
Coordinating Councils (CSCC) to encourage interagency coordination and collaboration; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors authorized the creation and development of a Children's
Services lnteragency Council for Butte County in 1991; and
'WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors recognized the need to improve coordination of services to
children and families by encouraging cooperation and collaboration between agencies; and
WHEREAS, it has been recognized that the Butte County Child Abuse Prevention Council performs and offers the
same services as the CSCC, therefore the CSCC is no longer needed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby disbands the CSCC.
