RECOVERY (CALRECYCLE) O. PROGRAMS
Resolution No,. 22-0,16
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Resources Code sections 48000 et seq., 14581, and 42023.1(8), the California [department
of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) has established various payment programs to make payments to
qualifying jurisdictions; and
WHEREAS, in furtherance of this authority, CalRecycle is required to establish procedures governing the administration
of the payment programs; and
WHEREAS, CalRecycle's procedures for administering payment programs require, among other things, an applicant's
governing body to declare by resollution certain authorizations related to the administration of the payment programs;
and
WHEREAS, if awarded, (Butte County will enter into a payment program agreement with CalRecycle for implementation
of said payment programs; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors authorizes the submittal of applications
to CalRecycle for all available payment programs for which Butte County is eligible; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVER that the Director of Public Works, or designee, is hereby authorized and empowered to
execute in the name of the Butte County all payment program -related documents, including but not limited to,
applications, agreements, amendments, and requests for payment necessary to secure payment program funds and
implement the approved payment program project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 81' day of February 2022, by the following vote:
