Subject: Thank you Butte County
Thank you very much for helping set the public's expectations of public employees at
appropriate levels. In a recent Youtube video, your visible lack of knowledge, professionalism,
and your contempt for the public who employ you to provide necessary services makes it clear
that we should expect nothing but the poorest level of performance from you. You
embarrassed yourselves and Oroville county.
A camera does not compel bad behavior, but it records it. If your people are unprofessional the
camera will capture that. If they conduct themselves in a professional manner it will record
that as well. Bad behavior by public employees makes these videos popular. The public
employees that interact properly with the public don't get hundreds of thousands of views on
the internet.
