Below are the results for the Zoning Administrator hearing on Wednesday, April 20,
2022. There were two items on the agenda:
1. Minor Use Permit MUP16-0014 a proposal to establish the 28-acre Patrick Ranch
Museum as a Cultural Institution, as defined under the Zoning Ordinance, to preserve
and interpret the agricultural history of the Sacramento Valley, including social,
cultural, and economic aspects. Ancillary operations to the museum include hosting
private and public special events. The project site encompasses 28 acres located at
10381 Midway, on the west side of the Oroville-Chico Hwy and Midway intersection,
approximately 2 miles south from the city of Chico. This project was approved.
2. Legal Lot Determination DET21-0012 a request for a Legal Lot
Determination/Conditional Certificate of Compliance for a single parcel, APN: 027-
240-053 (30.0 acres). The project site is located is located north of Craig Avenue,
approximately 2.75 miles south of Oroville city limits via Railroad Avenue. This project
was approved.

As with the previous updates, the decisions may also be searched in eTRAKiT for project
type “ZDN”, which is the Zoning Decision Number.

1. In the Search By fields, you will see “Project Number” in the first field, “Contains” in
the second field. The third field is blank - type “ZDN”, then click search.
2. You will see all of the ZDN (currently ZDN13-0001 through ZDN22-0014). If you
prefer, you can click on the Project Number column to sort starting with the most
current decision.
3. Click on any one of the rows to view the project. A direct link to the Parent Project
can be found in the lower portion of the screen.
