What: Public Open House for Yreka Pavement Rehab Project Where: 810 N Oregon Street, Yreka, CA When: 4-6PM on April 26, 2022 Yreka Pavement Rehab Public Open House Caltrans District 2 will be hosting an informational public open house for the Yreka Pavement Rehab Project in the City of Yreka from 4-6 PM on Tuesday, April 26. Caltrans representatives will be on hand to discuss plans for the upcoming project slated to begin Summer of 2022. This project aims to rehabilitate the pavement along State Route 3/Main Street, bring the design up to current standards and increase the service life of the roadway. Rideability for motorists will also be improved in order to facilitate increased use of alternative modes of transportation, including pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists. Safety features will also be enhanced. In addition, this project will give State Route 3/Main Street a clean, pedestrian- friendly look as well as add upgraded traffic signals, drainage improvements and curbs and sidewalks that comply with current Americans With Disabilities Act standards. The meeting will be held at the Community Center located at 810 N Oregon Street in Yreka. Attendees will be able to visit display stations, view project exhibits, and discuss plans and construction schedule with project staff during this time.
