Board Members,
Wayne Barley, our Chief Probation Officer, gave me notice that he will retire on July 29. As you may
recall, this is an unusual position in that it shared between the Court and the County: the Court is the
appointing authority and the County is the employer of record. I will discuss more detail in closed
session.
