SKYWAY ROAD REPLACEMENT
Paradise, CA – Starting May 9, 2022, through mid-September 2022, construction crews will begin repaving Skyway from
the Chico City limits at Potter Road to the Paradise Town limits at Skyway Crossroad to repair damages resulting from
cleanup and recovery efforts from the Camp Fire.
Construction operations will be Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Traffic control measures will be in
place 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Skyway will be limited to one lane in either direction and or both directions
simultaneously with intermittent full road closure to move construction equipment and perform necessary work. During
non-working hours, the contractor will monitor traffic control measures to ensure they remain in place and address any
issues that may come up.
Motorists can expect delays of up to 20 minutes due to slow-moving traffic and intermittent periods of full road closure.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes such as Neal Road, Clark Road (Hwy 191), or Pentz Road.
