Good evening –
I wanted to briefly follow up with an update on our efforts with the residential green waste
program in Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) areas.
To date, we’ve had seven events in 2022 that began in mid-March. While we’ve seen a minor
decrease in the average number of vehicles per day in 2022 compared to 2021, we’ve seen an
overall average increase in the average tonnage of material per day.
I’ve attached a screen capture of our overall visitations and tonnage since the program began
in June 2021.
As always, I’m happy to follow up as needed with any questions. I will be off tomorrow but
can respond next week as needed.
