Happy Friday! We are done with the week! Here is this week’s Butte-Glenn 2-1-1
newsletter, sharing information and resources to the communities in Butte and Glenn
Counties.
Upcoming Events
Thriving Together- Thrive, North Valley Community Foundation
(NVCF)
Offering free virtual courses designed to support, educate and inspire parents and
caregivers of teenagers. Participants will find support and learn parenting tips and
tools. Participants may join any session, they are not required to attend all of them.

Survivor to Survivor Roadmap to Recovery Workshop - United
Policyholders
Offering a webinar for all wildfire survivors where trained United Policyholders
volunteers with personal experience recovering from previous wildfires share tips to
help others on their road to recovery. Registration is required.

COVID-19 Mask Guidance
Butte-Glenn 2-1-1 is in partnership with United Way of Northern California- working
together to help strengthen and protect our communities in the North State. Below is
information on COVID-19 mask recommendation.
California Department of Public Health no
longer requires masks in most public indoor
settings. Masks are still strongly
recommended.
Locations where masks are still required:
Healthcare settings
Emergency shelters (Such as Cooling &
Heating Centers)
Jails and Prisons
Homeless shelters
Long-term care
Locations where masks are recommended:
Public transit stations, terminals, and airports
Indoor public settings
K-12 schools
Childcare

Resource Highlights
Community Action Agency of Butte County,
Inc.: North State Food Bank
Distributes surplus food to individuals & families once a
month in various locations throughout the five county
areas.

Food For All
Distributes food that have been donated by farmers
from the Saturday Farmers Market in Chico. The
types of food items and the amount of food available
at each distribution will vary depending what items
were donated and how much was donated.
Hours: Saturdays at 1pm until supplies run out. It is
recommended that individuals arrive as early as
possible since the amount of food available is
dependent on how much food was donated on the
day of the distribution.
Location: Trinity United Methodist Church, 285 E. 5th St., Chico
Willows Seventh Day Adventist Church
Distributes food and clothing to individuals in
need. Food boxes are available once a month
in addition to the weekly food pantry. The
number of food boxes individuals and families
can receive will depend on the size of their
household. Clothing is only offered on
Wednesdays. There is no limit to the amount of
clothing that an individual can receive.
Hours: Mondays: 9am-11am (drive-through,
food only)
Wednesdays: 9am-12pm
