In this month’s update, please see below for two surveys and a flyer for our broadband funding event to
be held on June 1st.

Please provide survey responses by May 30, 2022! While the surveys will remain open, timely responses
will ensure the CPUC is able to focus engagement and funding to meet the needs of your community.
1) The California Public Utilities Commission requests local government participation in the CPUC
Broadband Survey for Local Governments!
This survey will help the CPUC assess each community's broadband assets, broadband needs, and
interest in participating in state grant programs. In addition, it will help establish a point of contact for
the CPUC to communicate directly with local governments that need assistance with meeting their
broadband needs.

Please join us on June 1, 2022, from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. for an
informational webinar to review broadband funding programs at

Substantial funding opportunities to close the digital divide will be
