Caltrans Highlights Clean California
State Beautification Project
Plumas County receives funding for their Beautification Project that will
boost community engagement and job creation.
Who: Plumas County Transportation Commission Executive Director Jim
Graham
Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship Connected Communities Project
Coordinator Trinity Sterling
Caltrans, Clean California Program Coordinator Meagan Benham
and Clean California Public Information Officer Samantha O’Reilly
What: The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and
Plumas County Public Works executive director will meet to discuss
upcoming plans to create the Quincy Pocket Park. With funding
contributions of $61,000 from Governor Newsom’s $1.1 billion Clean
California initiative, this partnership will assist in creating a shared
community space, recreation informational hub emphasizing bicycle
and pedestrian modes of travel as well as provide a small community
park in downtown Quincy.
When: Tuesday, May 31 2022 at 1:30 p.m.
