THE CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE AND THE STATE FIRE MARSHAL’S REGULATIONS REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING FIRE SAFETY DEFICIENCIES BE CORRECTED:
Project Information
A required Fire Life and Safety inspection pursuant to Health and Safety Code § 13146.3 was conducted on March 30th, 2022 at the above facility. During the inspection, I was accompanied
by Firefighter Brandon Biermann. The following deficiencies are required to be repaired and/or corrected. These deficiencies will be labeled as P1, P2 or P3 throughout this report.
P1: Highest priority. NONE
P2: Second highest, priority and must be completed by April 30th, 2022.
P3: Third highest. NONE
Deficiencies
Lower Building
Service all fire extinguishers. Extinguisher must be serviced annually.
Fire extinguisher near the main doors is missing a “fire extinguisher” sign.
Main Church
Add address numbers on the front of the building to be clearly visible from the road, not less than 4 inches tall. Suggestion-add a small sign below each address numbers on each building
to identify each building by name, ie “lower building” or “upper building” or “main church” or “meeting hall” so in case of emergency first responders have that information and are
made aware that there are two buildings sharing same address.
Exit sign switch must be removed, Exit signs must remain permanently illuminated at all times…….California Fire Code 1013.3 Cover the electrical box once the switch is removed with a
cover.
Rear exit light not illuminated, repair or replace. Location-right side storage closet.
Install fire extinguisher sign above fire extinguisher. Location-right side storage closet.
Once completed, call Fire Station 72 for re-inspection.
