WITHIN BUTTE COUNTY
WHEREAS, Section 2121 of the Streets & Highway Code provides that in May of each year County shall submit to
the Department of Transportation, State of California, any additions or exclusions from its mileage of maintained County
roads, specifying the termini and mileage of each route added or excluded; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation, State of California, in 2021 certified to the State Controller that the
totals mileage of maintained County roads in Butte County was 1278.949 miles; and

WHEREAS, Butte County now finds that the total mileage of maintained County roads is 1273.340 miles;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the total mileage of maintained County roads decreased to 1273.340
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 24" day of May, 2022, by the following
AYES: Supervisors Lucero, Ritter, Kimmelshue, Teeter and Chair Connelly
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Teeter
